A women’s health expo expected to draw more than 5,000 people will be happening tomorrow at Goodall Hospital in Sanford.

The event, now in its third year, is the largest women’s health expo in New England, hospital officials say. The expo runs from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Demonstrations will include self-defense, yoga, kayaking and other activities throughout the day. Health screenings for blood pressure, cholesterol, bone density and memory loss will be available. More than three dozen lectures will be offered on topics such as disease management, physical fitness, self-improvement, finances and gardening. There will also be a screening of the film “The Breast Cancer Diaries.”

Sen. Susan Collins and Rep. Tom Allen are expected to make appearances at the event.

Visitors can also drop off outdated or unwanted prescription drugs, or get their children’s car seats checked by professionals.

Complete expo information is available at www.goodallhospital.org.
