Private divers on Friday found the body of a Kittery lobsterman who was lost at sea five days earlier off the Isles of Shoals.

The Maine Public Safety Department said the body of 46-year-old Christopher Tobey was picked up by the Coast Guard and was positively identified. No autopsy is planned.

The body was found north of Duck Island, which is near the New Hampshire line, said Stephen McCausland, public safety spokesman.

Tobey, his 16-year-old son and another crew member were tossed into the water Sunday when their 40-foot boat capsized after being struck by a large wave. The teen and crewman made it to Duck Island, where they were rescued Monday.
