WATERBORO - Three Waterboro teenagers were charged with burglary and theft today after a weekend burglary at Massabesic High School, according to the York County Sheriff's Office.
Two 14-year-old boys and a 13-year-old girl were arrested today after officials reviewed tapes from newly installed surveillance cameras. The laptop was recovered from the home of one of the boys.
According to the sheriff's office, the burglars went in Saturday night through a side window, tripping an alarm. No one was at the school when deputies arrived.
The school's new surveillance cameras also caught two students yesterday vandalizing the cruiser of a sheriff's deputy investigating the weekend theft. Those students were charged today with aggravated criminal mischief.
