AUGUSTA — Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, will be in Augusta Tuesday to announce new federal legislation to help the state’s trucking industry.

Collins will be joined by the Maine Motor Transport Association, representatives from the Coalition to Lower Fuel Prices, and independent truck drivers, according to her office.

The announcement will take place at 1 p.m. at the transport association headquarters on Whitten Road.
