Two Gray children face a court appearance for burglary charges after they broke into a neighbor’s house and stole a cell phone, portable DVD player, checks, credit cards, watches and a camera.

Authorities say the 12-year-old girl and 11-year-old boy climbed through a window to get into the house on Mayall Road.

The victims reported the break-in late Sunday after returning from a day-long trip.

They were able to identify one of the suspects when they called the missing cell phone and another neighbor heard it ringing in one of the children’s homes, authorities said.

All the items were recovered.
