FARMINGTON – Lisa Laflin will join the United Way of the Tri-Valley Area as its new executive director, it was announced Tuesday.

Laflin starts her job June 30.

Laflin brings a background in non-profit organizational skills including community building, strategic planning, project management, resource development and grant writing, according to a press release.

Since 2004, Laflin worked at the Healthy Community Coalition, an affiliate of the Franklin Community Health Network in Farmington, as the Community Building Coordinator.

Laflin replaces Nancy Morgan.
