MADISON -- Mykayla Stoutamyer scored on an illegal pitch with two outs in the bottom of the seventh inning to give Madison a 5-4 victory over Sacopee Valley in a Western C softball preliminary round game Tuesday afternoon.

Stoutamyer reached first on an error with one out, and the base umpire called an illegal pitch to move her to second. After a walk to Jessica Hayden, Brit Lichtenfels grounded out to put runners on second and third with two outs.

On the first pitch to Emily Berry, the umpire called another illegal pitch to score Stoutamyer and end the game.
