Partial results from Tuesday’s two-way Republican primary race for the District 1 seat on the Lincoln County Commission show Republican Lynn Gilley Orne with a lead over Jay D. Warren.

With all but one town reporting Wednesday, Orne had gathered 685 votes to Warren’s 456. Only Edgecomb had not reported results. Its town office is closed on Wednesdays.

Orne will face Democrat David Taylor in the November general election.

Orne is a member of the Southport Board of Selectmen, and a licensed massage therapist. He said he has attended every county commissioner meeting for the past three years.

District 1 encompasses all of Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor, Edgecomb, Southport, Westport and Wiscasset.
