WILTON – Three uncontested races in Wilton returned two selectmen to the board and replaced a veteran school board member with a former town selectman.
Re-elected were Chairman of the Board of Selectmen Paul Gooch with 307 votes, and Selectman Terry Brann who garnered 290. The town’s new director for School Administrative District 9’s school board (Farmington, Chesterville, Industry, New Sharon, New Vineyard, Vienna, Weld and Wilton) is Keith Swett, who won with 266 votes over 43 for write-in candidate Brian Clements.
Swett is a former selectman and was also chairman of the Planning Board, and he replaces longtime director Susan Black who did not seek another term.
