AUGUSTA — The Fresh Air Fund is seeking families in the Augusta area to give inner-city children a two-week vacation.

The fund provides opportunities for children from low-income neighborhoods to experience free summer vacations in suburban and small towns.

There are no financial requirements for hosting a Fresh Air child. Hosts can select the gender and approximate age of their visitor.

First-time visitors are 6-12 years old. Youngsters invited to participate multiple summers go up to age 18.

To learn more contact Lynne Dailey at 314-2173 or call The Fresh Air Fund at 800-367-0003 or visit on line at www.freshair.org.
