AUGUSTA - Two state police detectives flew to Illinois late last night to interview a Lewiston couple taken into custody over the weekend.

Ryan Muncey and Alisha Turner are being held as material witnesses following the fatal stabbing of a man last week in Auburn.

No decision has been made on any charges, or how and when the the couple will be returned to Maine. The couple's two young children are staying with relatives in Illinois.
