WINTHROP — The Board of Education will meet in emergency session at 5 p.m. Monday at the Town Office to hear the results from a committee searching for a new, part-time superintendent.

John Mitchell, board chairman, said the committee met twice last week to review applications and will present information to the board.

Superintendent Mark Laroach is leaving June 30 to take a job in New Hampshire.

An agenda for the special meeting was posted this morning.

The board has its regularly scheduled session on Wednesday.
