Waterville 5, Messalonskee 3: Josh Gaudette pitched a three-hitter as the Beavers defeated the Eagles in Waterville.

After Waterville took a 3-0 lead in the third with the help of Curt Chaput's two-run double, the Eagles tied the game at 3 on Nick Curato's three-run homer in the fourth. Waterville (1-0) took the lead for good on Kyle Bishop's RBI double in the bottom of the fourth.

Messalonskee is 0-1.

Lincoln 6, Madison 3: Lincoln scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning without getting the ball out of the infield to take the win in Madison.

Madison made two errors in the top of the sixth. Adam Climo pitched a three-hitter for Lincoln (1-0), but hit five batters. John Little Ezra Gourley and Mike Saucier each singled for Madison (0-1).

Climo also doubled For Lincoln. The victors stole five bases on the night.
