The Maine Public Broadcasting Network is offering a live webcast of Friday's concert by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals at the Skowhegan Opera House.

Shortly before 8 pm on Friday, MPBN will establish an audio stream from inside the opera house, located at the Skowhegan Town Hall. Go to mpbn.net to hear the concert live as it happens, for free.

The Grace Potter concert is the first in what MPBN plans as a series of monthly live webcasts of concerts throughout the state of Maine.

The series, which MPBN is calling Maine Live!, returns to the Waterville Opera House on July 26 for a concert b Maine's female singer songwriters and then moves to Bangor in August for the entire three-day American Folk Festival.
