WINTHROP -- Board of Education members Wednesday night hired two new administrators to replace departing Athletic Director Eric Turner and to fill an assistant principal's position.

Board members appointed Michael Jack as the schools' new athletic director, Superintendent Stephen Cottrell said. Jack is currently listed as the Dean of Students and Athletic Director at Buckfield Junior/Senior High School.

The school system Wednesday also named Keith Morin as assistant principal for the town's middle and high schools. Morin, who was a student teacher in Winthrop, has taught social studies at Lawrence High School in Fairfield for the past nine years, Cottrell said.
