Authorities investigating two arson fires at the Stage Neck Inn in York last winter have announced a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those involved, according to York Police Chief Douglas Bracy.
The York Police Department, Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the state Fire Marshal's Office are investigating the fires.
The first fire occurred on Jan. 17. The inn, at 8 Stage Neck Road, had been closed for renovations and was scheduled to open the next day. Investigators classified the fire as arson.
Two weeks later, authorities responded to a second fire at the Stage Neck Inn, which was also classified as arson.
Anyone with information about the fires can contact Seacoast Crimestoppers at 603-431-1199 or via its web site.
