AUGUSTA — The Legislature’s Government Oversight Committee will take public comment Tuesday on a report that examines state administration staffing and opportunities to save money.
The committee, which is made up of legislators, will take comment at 10 a.m. in Room 202 of the Cross State Office Building.
The investigators at the Office of Program Evaluation and Government Accountability determined that there is not enough information currently available to study the subject.
The report recommends that all state departments be required to submit uniform organizational charts and that the state conduct a market study of total compensation packages for upper level management positions.
