HALLOWELL — A special City Council meeting concerning the proposed budget for the 2008-2009 fiscal year has been moved to Monday.

Councilors will gather to mull over the budget, which jumped 11.4 percent over last year’s budget. The meeting was originally set for Wednesday.

The Monday night meeting will be at 6 p.m. at Hallowell City Hall, 1 Winthrop St.
