The National Weather Service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Androscoggin County and western Kennebec County until 530 p.m.

At 4:28 p.m., radar indicated a line of severe thunderstorms capable of producing penny-size hail along with damaging winds of 60 mph. These storms were located along a line from Grafton Notch State Park to Naples to Wells, or along a line from 12 miles northwest of Bethel to Naples to 13 miles southeast of Sanford, moving northeast at 40 mph.

Damaging winds up to 60 mph were reported with these storms.
