A pair of golf veterans top the leaderboard after two rounds of the men's state amateur championship at Biddeford-Saco Country Club.

Two-time champion Ricky Jones of Thomaston and 13-time champion Mark Plummer of Manchester, playing in the first group of the day, shot a pair of 3-under par 68s today.

Jones has a one-shot lead on Plummer entering Thursday's final round. First-round leader Ryan Gay of Pittston is three shots behind Jones.
