It's not exactly ships passing in the night, but pretty close.

Tomorrow at 8:00 a.m. the 1,950-passenger Granduer of the Seas arrives at the Portland Ocean Terminal for a day-long visit. The ship will leave at 7:00 in the evening for Bar Harbor.

Also tomorrow the small cruise ship Grande Caribe wraps up a two-day visit to Portland, leaving Ocean Gateway at 2:00 p.m.

This is the first of four visits this season for both ships.
