The University of Maine system Board of Trustees meets today on the campus of the University College of Bangor.

The meeting marks the first time University of Maine at Augusta President Allyson Hughes Handley, who assumed her post in March, hosts a trustees meeting. As UMA president, Handley also oversees the Bangor campus.

While the board members' agenda features no major action items, the meeting marks the first for new University of Southern Maine President Selma Botman, who joined USM after a tenure as executive vice chancellor and university provost at the City University of New York.
