AUGUSTA -- The Maine Development Foundation is currently accepting nominations for the 2008 "Champions of Economic Development" awards.

Each year, MDF recognizes an organization and business that have gone above and beyond in championing economic growth in Maine, whether at the state, regional, or local level.

These awards are given to both the private and non-profit sectors.

Winners will be announced at MDF's Annual Meeting on September 18. Nomination forms can be downloaded from http://mdf.org/mdf/News/EconDev_nomination_form.html Please complete and return this form by August 8th to cmiller@mdf.org.
