SCARBOROUGH $ Four men face charges following a robbery early this morning, according to police.

Nicholas Marcel Murdock, 19, Michael John Jensen, 19, Sean Michael Newton, 20; and Nicholas Marcel Leeman, 19, were arrested and charged with robbery, aggravated assault, burglary, theft and probation violations.

Police said the men were robbing a home at Burnham Road around 1:30 a.m. Residents woke up and confronted the men outside and one of the residents was struck with a baseball bat, police said.

The four suspects were later caught by Saco police.

The resident hit with the baseball bat was treated and released by Scarborough rescue workers.
