PORTLAND -- Electricity has been restored to residents who lost power because of severe thunderstorms Friday and Saturday.
Power was restored the remaining customers suffering from outages by mid-afternoon, according to Central Maine Power Co.
This morning, about 250 customers were without power.
Twenty-one customers in Portland had no power this morning because of Friday's storms. At the peak of Friday's outages, 22,000 customers in the utility's Portland and Alfred service areas lost power.
Another 230 customers were without power this morning because of Saturday's storms. Of those outages, 174 were in Brunswick. Others were scattered around York County.
