Gorham's public works department will be accepting tree debris for disposal in the wake of Friday's storm.
Residents may bring tree debris to the Public Works facility, located off Huston Road between Routes 114 and 237. The debris pils is located at the end of the road past the fuel depot, and to the left.
Logs cannot be longer than 8 feet, the town said. There is no diameter restriction. Stumps are not being accepted. Public Works crews also will be cleaning up storm debris around town, starting in those areas hardest hit.
The National Weather Service estimated on Friday that hundreds of trees were downed in the Gorham area in the storm, which packed an estimated 70 to 80 mph winds.
