GARDINER -- Gardiner Public Library will host a guided walking tour of Gardiner, the boyhood home of Edwin Arlington Robinson, at 10 a.m. Saturday.

Those who participate will become acquainted with the people and places that influenced the life of this outstanding American poet.

Many of the sites have changed little from the time Robinson walked the streets of his neighborhood. This is an exterior only tour and we ask all visitors to respect the owners' privacy.

The tour will begin by the Edwin Arlington Robinson monument in the Gardiner Commons on Brunswick Avenue (Route 201). The walk will take approximately 1 1/2 hours and is about a 2-mile walk.
