MADISON - Four law-enforcement agencies in central Maine at this hour are searching for a Pontiac believed to be involved in an armed robbery of a credit union here.
The robbery occurred before 11 this morning, police said. An official of the Madison Federal Credit Union, at 48 Main St., in Madison, declined to comment, referring questions to investigating police.
Somerset State Police, Skowhegan and Madison police and the Somerset County Sheriff's Office this morning are searching the roads between Madison and Solon for the vehicle.
