Verso Paper Corp., a Memphis-Tenn.-based coated paper company, has announced that it will reduce production at its Bucksport mill beginning September 8. The downtime is expected to last two weeks.

The Bucksport mill employs 795 people and makes lightweight coated paper.

Verso has one other Maine mill in Jay.
