MANCHESTER -- A Readfield man who had to be air lifted from all terrain vehicle accident yesterday evening is expected to recover, a game warden said Saturday.
Tyler Beck, 21, broke his femur in an accident on an ATV yesterday just after 5 p.m. at the Summerhaven Quarry in Manchester, Warden Bob Decker said.
"He was up on the pits going sideways and hit a bump," Decker said. "Then he either flipped the machine on top of him or he went over the handlebars and the ATV ran over him."
LifeFlight took Beck to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston to treat his broken femur, Decker said.
