OLD ORCHARD BEACH State biologists on Wednesday will give a presentation about a proposed expansion of piping plover habitat.

The Inland Fish and Wildlife Department is proposing an expansion of plover "essential habitat." The expansion would stretch south from existing habitat near the Scarborough town line and north from existing habitat on either side of Goosefare Brook.

The presentation is scheduled for 7 p.m. in the Town Council chambers.
