AUGUSTA $ Westbrook scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning en route to an 8-5 win over Augusta in the Babe Ruth state champioinshp game for 13-15 year olds Monday at Morton Field.
Zach Collett's two-run double broke the tie and helped Westbrook advance to Thursday's New England tournament in Manchester, N.H. Augusta tied the game at 5-all with four runs in the top of the sixth, three of those scoring on Cory Clarke's three-run double.
Spence Allen added two hits for Augusta.
