Police in Portland will be stopping motorists at a checkpoint in the city's Old Port district tonight.

The unsafe driver checkpoint will run from 11 p.m.-2 a.m. at an undisclosed location in the area, said Sgt. Scot Mattox.

Police will be checking for motorists driving under the influence or with suspended or revoked licenses, Mattox said.
