A 32-year-old Sumner man has been arrested and charged with the murder of two men in West Paris on July 26.
Duane Waterman was arrested by Maine State Police detectives at 1:30 p.m. this afternoon, while he was fishing in Livermore, according to state Department of Public Safety spokesman Steve McCausland.
Waterman will be taken to the Oxford County Jail. He is expected to appear at 9 a.m. Tuesday in Oxford County Superior Court in South Paris.
Police say Waterman shot Timothy Mayberry, 50, and Todd Smith, 43, multiple times. Detectives spent three days searching Waterman's home in Sumner.
