GARDINER - School Administrative District 11 Board of Directors on Thursday will listen to a presentation on the 2007 Maine Educational Assessment Scores for grades 3-8.

Paul Knowles, superintendent, said the board will then analyze the scores.

The meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. at the district's central office board room.

"We'll celebrate what we did well and outline some areas of concern and how we plan to address them," Knowles said Monday.

He said some grades met the state average and others did not. Some schools in the district did exceptionally well.

"It's a mixed bag of results," he said.

Knowles said he received the results two weeks ago. High school scores arrived today. Those will be reviewed at a later date, he said.
