STATEWIDE -- Hungry for some fresh vegetables?
Then Gov. John Baldacci would like you to consider getting them from a farmer's market this week.
This week has been proclaimed "Maine Farmers' Market Week" by the governor, highlighting the yummy goodness that is locally grown produce.
The challenge: For at least one day during the week, Maine residents should eat local food (foods produced within 100 miles of home).
