The Portland School Committee has appointed two new principals and several new administrators.

Lincoln Middle School's new principal is Steve Nolan, formerly the school's assistant principal. Nolan's predecessor, Kathleen Rossi, retired in June.

Presumpscot Elementary School also has a new principal. Cynthia Loring is replacing Carole Clark who retired. Loring has been assistant principal of Lyman Moore School since 2000.

Other appointments include two new assistant principals: Sandra Gorsuch-Plummer at Lyseth Elementary School and Philip Darasz at Lyman Moore. The school system's new computer technology coordinator is Joseph Makley and Ron Adams is the new food service director
