The heavy rains this week have drenched Morton and McGuire Fields in Augusta and forced the American Legion state baseball tournament games to be postponed for two more days.

Action scheduled for today will now take place on Saturday. Gardiner will play Gayton Post at noon at McGuire Field and Nova will face Bessey Motors at 4 p.m. also at McGuire Field.

The tournament will conclude on Sunday with the championship portion of the tournament. Game times are noon and 4 p.m. (if necessary) Sunday.
