FARMINGTON - There will be a Learning Garden Open House on Wednesday, Aug. 13 from 10 a.m. until noon at the University of Maine Cooperative Extension office at 147 Farmington Falls Road in Farmington.

Featured will raised-bed gardens with vegetable and flowers including demonstrations on pest management, growing sweet potatoes and maximizing food production in a small space.
