Enoch Petrucelly of Palmyra stabbed his brother Michael to death with a sword, Maine State Police allege in an affidavit released today.
Enoch Petrucelly allegedly said he was romantically involved with a woman they were visiting over the weekend on the island of North Haven. He had previously threatened to kill Michael if he got involved with the woman "in that way," police allege.
The release of the police affidavit Tuesday morning came as Petrucelly made his initial court appearance and was ordered held without bail. Petrucelly has requested that his court-appointed lawyer, Howard F. O'Brien, be dumped so he can find a new lawyer.
