JEFFERSON-- A full day of fun is on tap today as part of the 19th Annual Jefferson Community Day.

Booths on the village green opened at 9 a.m. to offer arts, crafts, "treasures-n-trash," according to the event organizers. The items are scheduled to be offered for sale all day.

A parade is set for 11 a.m. with the theme "Anything Goes."

At noon, a BBQ lunch with chicken, ribs and salmon is planned, along with the announcement of parade winners.

Then at 1:30, there will be demonstrations by the fire department and at 3 p.m., a silent auction.

The events are taking place in the town Memorial Park and at the Village School.
