WINTHROP -- Cobbosee Cash Market, which has been closed since January, has a new owner.

Gary Violette, of Manchester, recently bought the business on U.S. Route 202, but said today he has not decided what he will do with the property.

Violette is president of Central Maine Drywall and owner of Mulligan's store in Manchester.

Cobbosee Cash Market, a grocery, deli and agency liquor store across from Lakeside Antiques & Collectibles, was previously owned by Alexander Stanchfield.
