HALLOWELL -- A Hallowell woman reported missing from her home Sunday afternoon was found that night in good health, Hallowell police Chief Eric Nason said Monday morning.

Agatha Berron, 86, was reported last seen at her home on Outlet Road at 1:30 p.m., Maine Warden Sgt. John Blagdon said.

Over the course of the day, as Berron remained missing, several other agencies were called to help, including the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office, the Maine Warden Service and Maine Search and Rescue, Blagdon said. Canines and the Warden Service search plane were also employed.

Berron was found "well within a mile" of her home 10 hours later, Nason sai.d.

"She was in good health," Nason said. "We're glad (she was found safe)."
