STANDISH $ Valley High School graduate Chris Willer has been added to the men's basketball coaching staff at St. Joseph's College.

Willer, who most recently served as the boys basketball coach at Poland Regional High School, will join head coach Rob Sanicola's staff for the upcoming season. A graduate of St. Joseph's College, Willer played two seasons for the Monks.

"I'm excited to have Chris back; he was always one of my favorite players," Sanicola said. "He's a great competitor and possesses a terrific understanding of basketball."

At Valley, Willer was part of a Valley team that went 75-5and won three consecutive state titles. He scored 1,127 points and had 483 assists.
