WATERVILLE -- What do you get when you combine a love-struck funeral director, a woman who robs corpses for a living, and a woman who's just found out her late husband owes the mob?
Stand-up comedy, high drama and a theatrical benefit for the Maine Children's Home For Little Wanderers, in Waterville.
The dramas comprise "Three Viewings," a show touring New England that's being performed Friday and Saturday at the REM Space, 93 Main St.
The performance's three parts include "Tell-Tale," "The Thief of Tears" and "Thirteen Things about Ed Carpolotti." The play is written by Jeffrey Hatcher, and features actors Lee Kerr of Augusta, in "Tell-Tale"; Dee Cooke of New York and Belgrade, in "The Thief of Tears"; and Lou Parnell of Winslow, in "Thirteen Things about Ed Carpolotti."
Together the actors perform as Three and A Crowd Players.
Showtimes at REM are 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The troupe's previously announced Sunday matinee has been cancelled. Cost: $15 for teens and adults and $10 for children under 12. Dessert is included.
Tickets can be purchased in advance at the Maine Children's Home for Little Wanderers, at 93 Silver St., or at REM's door. For details, call 872-0261.
