HALLOWELL -- Harlow Gallery has announced its September show.

Starting Sept. 5, the gallery will feature work by Mary Brooking. The show, called "Portage: Recent work by Mary Brooking," will end Sept. 28.

Brooking is known for her landscape paintings and has exhibited her work all over the state, including Portland, Gorham, Casco and Norway. She lives in Westbrook with her family.

Harlow Gallery will host a wine and cheese reception on the show's opening night from 5 to 8 p.m. Sept. 5, at the gallery, 160 Water St.
