Husson College's president will officially announce the college's name change at a ceremony on Aug. 27, college officials said today.

Husson's trustees voted this summer to change the name from Husson College to Husson University.

President William Beardsley will make an announcement on the name change at noon on Wednesday, Aug. 27 at the Bangor college's Dyke Center for Family Business.
