AUGUSTA -- The Home Heating Challenge Group will convene tomorrow to address strategies Kennebec County municipalities have in place to help residents who may not be able their homes this winter.
The group, comprised of town and county officials, United Way members and oil fuel dealers, will also address potential problems that may arise this winter, as resident fears about how to pay for oil to heat their homes mounts.
"Basically, we want to talk about how we see the situation that we're facing this year," said Rob Gordon, the executive director of the United Way of Kennebec Valley.
The meeting will begin at 9 a.m. at the St. Paul Center, 136 State St. in Augusta.
