SANFORD -- Fire officials are investigating the cause of a fire around 10 p.m. at Mill Street Market in the Springvale area of town.

Lt. Eric Neuber of the Sanford Fire Department said the fire at the Mill Street business was knocked down within about 30 minutes.

When firefighters arrived shortly after 10:15 p.m., they found heavy smoke coming from the building. No one was injured and the cause is not yet known.
