Woman hurt in South Portland rollover

SOUTH PORTLAND -- A woman was injured this afternoon when her car hit a utility pole and flipped over, police said.

The single-car crash occurred just after 1 p.m., police said, in front of 595 Sawyer St. The woman was the only occupant of the car. She was taken to Maine Medical Center after being helped by a rescue crew.

Police said they did not yet have the woman's name, but added that the injuries did not appear to be life-threatening.
